It is approved as a school with the Department for Children, Schools and Families, and as a Children’s Home with Ofsted. It has approval to accommodate children during term time and holidays where necessary, so being able to offer care for 52 weeks a year. It lies in 20 acres of grounds in a pleasant rural location in a restored 16th century building with excellent classroom facilities.

Overview:

Wings infrastructure was starting to show the signs of ageing and this project was to replace the old File Server and bring the software up to date.

There were also problems with their network so an additional switch was included to improve the networking performance and alleviate the strain on the existing switch.

They were also running outdated Microsoft software and therefore as part of this project a software upgrade would also take place to bring them up to date with the latest versions.
