Nottingham Law Centre was established in 1982 as an independent charity to provide free, confidential and independent advice to disadvantaged and vulnerable sections of the society in Nottingham city centre. Over the years they have helped with debt management, housing and welfare benefits and representation in court for repossessions and tribunals. In addition to this they also lobby and campaign for changes to the law where they think that current or proposed changes are not just. |
Overview: |
Nottingham Law Centre had a dated system which was very slow and urgently in need of some performance improvements. These hardware upgrades were also required to facilitate necessary software upgrades. We provided a new server environment along with Exchange & SQL upgrades, improved wireless security and a replacement to the old router to enhance their Internet connectivity. As they are a charity one of the hardest challenges was to provide them with the performance they needed within a restricted budget. |
