Since their formation in 1999, Autoscan have grown to become the UK’s largest provider of quality inspection, containment and engineering services to the Automotive industry. This has been achieved by maintaining their core principles for providing a flexible managed service utilising the right skills, delivered with trust, integrity and transparency.

The principals of both E-PPL and Autoscan had known each other for over 10 years and early discussions it was quickly recognised the future of the Service Provider Sector was about providing the widest possible range of services ‘all under one roof’ as a single/full service provider.

The sale of Autoscan to E-PPL was concluded in 2011 and ‘together’ they are now able to offer a wider range of services than is available from any other service provider and are looking to grow their service range with investments over the coming years.


Overview:


Autoscan had an old server that kept crashing, freezing and their Exchange lost e-mails and data. There were also backup failures, which was a problem. Basically it was decided that it was no longer fit for purpose.

Geostream installed a brand new file server and moved them to Office 365 for their e-mail. We also installed a new managed switch to give Geostream greater visibility in the event of a problem.
